About this Scholarship
To support women graduating from Natrona County high schools who are pursuing a degree at a four-year institution in a STEM field of study, as follows:
- Natural sciences: astronomy, biology, chemistry, geology, physics and other closely related fields
- Technology: cybersecurity, IT, systems engineering and other closely related fields
- Engineering: biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, material, mechanical
- Mathematics: pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and other closely related fields
Who is eligible?
Any Women who are graduating from any Natrona County high school, who is planning to major in a STEM field of Study at a 4-year university
Resident of: Natrona County
Time: Must be enrolled full-time
GPA: None

Essay questions and additional materials:
Essay answers should be between 2,000 and 3,000 characters. Aim for a response that is no fewer than 400 words long. Essay questions become accessible after submission of the WYCF Common Scholarship Application
- Essay Question: Describe a problem or issue in your proposed field of study that you are particularly interested in solving. What experiences have inspired you to address it? What additional education, skills, resources and/or mentorship do you need to help you in doing so?
